Phenyl|äthylalkohole, Bezeichnung für die zwei strukturisomeren Phenylderivate des Äthanols: 1-(oder α-)Phenyläthanol und 2-(oder β-)Phenyläthanol. Das rosenartig riechende 2-Phenyläthanol kommt in mehreren ätherischen Ölen vor; es wird auch synthetisch hergestellt und als Riechstoff verwendet.
